About us
We are brothers and race fanatics who follow the various race classes closely, and can often be found on the race track. We also E-race, but always found something was lacking. Of course you can see what it happening on the screens, but the force feedback of the steering wheel is the only thing that gives you haptic feedback and that just isn’t enough.
You have no real feedback of the car which is troublesome. Does the rear step out? Most of the time you’ll know when it’s too late to recover. Do the brakes lock up? I think so. Did I hit something? Maybe. Even some seasoned racecar drivers struggle with E-racing. So we thought we need to have something that gives us more feedback and we dived into the simulator world.
We found out there are quite some sims out there: design chairs with no added movement. Nope. Sims with some movement. Not really what we were looking for. High end full motion rigs! That is what we wanted, but with costs from 40K and up this is out of reach for most. So we decided to develop one ourselves. Since one of us works for ASML, the world market leader in machines for computer processor production and the other has lifelong experience in mechatronics engineering and production, we felt we were up to the challenge!
By no means we did compromise on quality, we are users ourselves and are annoyed when companies take shortcuts to maximize profits and delivering a subpar product.
